Was it 4 colleges or 5 before she finally found one that would give her a bachelors in cosmetology. Can't forget mayor of a small town and Governor of Alaska for part of a term. I hope she finds a good running mate in case she decides to quit and make a reality show,

At any rate I'm going to beg out on discussing SP's short comings. It's too political. I don't want to get the thread shut down. Someone may want to discuss her last episode or something.

My daughter got a journalism degree. I do remember about SP. She wanted to be a TV anchor woman. My DD knew a lot of young women that were trying to do that. Lot of competition for that. I knew she wasn't a cosmetologist. Just kidding. Remember the Don Henley song, Dirty Laundry? It was about anchor women.

I don't think it was her toe. I think it was because she wasn't blond.

TV news people have to sound a certain way. SP doesn't have that sound. That's if she even tried it out.

I thought anchor people had to work on that bland Interior Midwestern accent. Ra-thah than speak lahk a Bahs-tonian, What da people speak like in da U.P. eh?, A Southron or have an ethnic accent.

Palin's pseudo-Canadian/whoknowswhat accent probably didn't help.
