I kinda think Sarah Palin is a very sharp, intelligent woman. But as for Kate, she seems like a little spoiled brat that wants her own way about everything. Of course her ex was no prize either.

Peacemaker; this wasn't a very peace making topic...
If you don't like them, why would you bother watching them? I could never form an opinion of someone based on a 'reality' tv show. If they acted really nice and boring, would anybody want to watch them?
I have no idea how either of these people are in person without a camera in their face. And, since I haven't walked in either's shoes, I'm not really in a position to form an intelligent opinion. From a curiosity standpoint though, I'd like to know more about one of them...
If you don't like them, why would you bother watching them? I could never form an opinion of someone based on a 'reality' tv show. If they acted really nice and boring, would anybody want to watch them?

That's what I wonder about all of the reality tv shows. I can understand why people watch shows like Clean House & shows on HGTV -- ideas about what to do with their own houses, etc. However, most of the rest of the whole reality type stuff? Utter crap.
Oh, please. Since everyone seems to be into trashing a person, let's tell the truth about those STUPID home improvement shows. Twenty people come in, with a huge budget and transform a dump into a palace, in 1/2 hr. and people begin to believe that's how it's really done.
Then, they are disappointed, when one man shows up and takes a full week to retile the shower.

True that Royd! From the perspective of person in a home service industry, that does create some very unrealistic expectations.

Ah, yes. They may not do a job the same way that it gets done at home, but the results CAN give ideas for things to do in your own home. I mean I'm not about to glue lime green and orange shag carpet to my ceiling, but many of the decorating and home improvement shows DO have good ideas in them. Perhaps I should clarify: I am a do-it-yourselfer. If I can physically and safely do the job myself then it gets done without hiring someone, even if it takes a very long time.
Note to self...continue working on removing old wiring from the basement now that I have a bit of spare time...
