I didn't see it, but I kinda doubt Sarah Palin does much tent camping, especially if that is how she handles a cooler.

Most of my friends and family in Alaska camp in forest service cabins, cabins they own or some type of camper. Even it the summer, it's nice to have a heat source and a dry place to hole up.

Wow, maybe I'm not in the loop; I have not seen anything to really hate Sarah Palin for. I always looked upon her with respect, because she is a quick-thinker and seems to be an honest person, so far. The media keeps trying to point out her few wrongdoings and blow them up, all just to make her look bad.

Kate on the other hand, I have to agree. She is rude to many people, and she often seems to let her frustration out on her kids.

I didn't see the show, and I won't watch it. BUt, I do camp in tents, but we have very strict rules about food and the storage of said food. I have never used a forest service cabin but I have researched some in some lovely places and may get to one of them next summer for a change....

Of course, winter camping, bears are sleeping, wolves, coyotes, and other vermin are the meat snatchers. In which case the meat is safe in a cooler and can be stored next to the tent.

Either way I sleep with a gun close at hand.​
