kate plus 8 and Sara Palin

I don't watch Kate and I'm not a Sarah fan. What? They went camping together?

Maybe a polar bear, or a herd of penguins will get them. That would boost the ratings.

...but I would worry about the bear getting sick.

they went 'camping' together, and kate sat under a tent canopy the whole time and complained, and then decided to drag her poor kids away from all the fun they actually were having... and leave. it was an hour of wasted time, and if I hadn't been folding laundry at the same time, it would have been a complete waste. anyway, sarah was on happy pills, kate needed some, and the poor kids were pawns and used to keep the show moving.

Did you all see where 2 of her kids were supposed to get suspended or expelled..something like that. Didnt happen though... guess money talks.
Even though i think her husband is a scum bag..i dont blame him for wanting to get away from her.

Actually I admire anyone who can get out there a do the whole roughing it thing. Actually roughing it, not we are going roughing it in an RV with a hot tub. I would have loved to gone. I am trying to talk my kids into a trip there just so we can do that. They still say no way but I am working on them. I envy those who can survive.

I think it was totally stupid though to put someone who could barely camp in her own back yard out camping in Alaska. Seriously why not just take Paris Hilton or something. It was just goofy. I can appreciate wanting to share the beautiful outdoors and something you do with your family but maybe ease people into it. Frankly most people are spoiled. We had a family come on a camp out and the kids could not cope with having to sleep outside unless they had television. Ummm there is no tv and even if there is there is no cable. An hour of crying later.......you get my drift. You can't stick 90% of the population in that situation without a meltdown or a freakout. Was just a stupid idea. I think Kate should have been a bit more realistic and a bit more flexible. From reports I have heard her kids seemed to be having a wonderful time. Thats great. Get them around people who can actually do stuff and maybe they will turn into self sufficient adults. Don't haul them away because its actually roughing it.

That's what I wonder about all of the reality tv shows. I can understand why people watch shows like Clean House & shows on HGTV -- ideas about what to do with their own houses, etc. However, most of the rest of the whole reality type stuff? Utter crap.
