You all know that I am hatching my turkey eggs right now. I just weighed the eggs and they are at 10% weight loss after 7 days. This seems very high especially since my chicken eggs are a 6% weight loss on day 7 and that is considered the max they should be. Is this a problem???
The humidity is at 38%

you may need to up your humidity a bit, i believe they are supposed to lose 13-14% over all

I just raised it to 50%. I can't do any more because I don't want my chicken eggs to suffer.

Just had to butcher one of my 2-year old Toms. He got beat up and lost the battle against a younger one. He wasn't eating or doing anything so I had to butcher him. He ended up weighing 25 POUNDS after he was feathered and ready to go in the fridge. He was the biggest one yet for me.
