I do Garden. I live in Southeastern Wisconsin, though so not sure how well it would hold up to our climate.
I would love some seeds if I could keep the tree alive lol.
This variety does great in a pot. If you had somewhere to place it during the winter it would do fine. I would suggest doing a pot around 5 gallon the first year, and then in the ground the next year. That should give it enough time to get a good root ball. If planted in the ground once it warms enough, I would imagine it should be well established enough by the time winter came.

Although, in all fairness, that's just a guess from a guy who wears short on Christmas day.

I've got over a thousand seeds though, so if you'd like some it's not exactly going to hurt my stash. Shoot me your address in a PM if you'd like, and if not no biggie.

I'm not a vegetarian, but I did professional cook for 11 year, and have digestion issues. Besides the protein content, Moringa also contains vitamins A,B,C,D,K,&,M plus something like 32 antioxidants.

Peppers, potatoes. Which is too bad because as a somewhat picky vegetarian, she happens to like both of those and tomatoes, doesn't mind missing out on eggplant.
Oughff, that's rough. Lol although I agree with her on eggplant. Peppers though?! That stinks!

Do you do any gardening? I could send you some Moringa seeds. In short, it's a tree that has one of if not the highest protein content of any plant matter. It's indigenous to India and in some part over there it consists up to 80% of peoples diets.

If you would like to do some research on your own, the variety I have is Moringa Ofelia, AKA Dwarf Moringa.
That's cool you grow Moringa trees! My mom also has a Moringa tree, even here in ND!

My mom has a Moringa tree that she started from seed and it's doing great. It is possible to grow Moringa trees in colder climates. We are in zone 3. If your climate is to cold for the Moringa tree you can just bring it inside your house for the winter. Just grow it in a large flower pot, then when it's time to bring it inside, it's easy to bring in and you don't have to dig it up from the ground. Moringa trees can get big though, so keep it well pruned and grow it in a large flower pot so you can bring it inside in the winter, and that's how you can grow it in a cold climate! Yeah, you can actually do that!
I'll go get a pic of ours for you right now!

Would like some seeds too? :)

That goes for anyone, it's an open ended offer. ;)

Yes, there is. You can get it from thistle blooms, cardoon blooms, and artichoke blooms.
Good to know. She loves artichokes so we grow them. Should she ever get into making cheese (milk source would be a ?? though), she would have a ready source of rennet. Hopefully it isn't a big involved process to get it.

Anyone ever notice how the Barbezieux and White-faced Spanish look almost exactly the same?

W-F Spanish...

Barbezieux...

I just think this pic is funny, and admire any chicken that can flop their earlobes around. :gig
