I am not a Rabbinical authority but yes, you can't mix diary products with meat from cattel goats or sheep that is from the bbiblical source מדאורייתה the poultry meat is a Rabbinical regulation מדרבנן
And some more strict fracation of the Jewish people don't mix fish with dairy, especially the ultra religious of the Jewish decedent from the Jewish expelled from Spain in 1492 the Sefaradim ספרדים.
I believe that everyone should do what he thinks is important and not letting anyone else decide for him, that whay the Almighty gave us a brain!
Yes, I completely agree with you Benny! Everyone should do what they feel is the right thing to do, even if it doesn't match someone else's opinion! Absolutely!

Right now I'm munching on a really crunchy, tasty, delicious, homegrown cucumber!

My older daughter is what I refer to as an emotional vegetarian. Some vegetarians eat that way because they think it is healthier. She won't eat anything that required an animal to die to provide it no matter how small a percentage it may be. So no animal rennet, no gelatin. Makes shopping a bit difficult, especially combined with her gluten and nightshade intolerance.

I suspect "vegetarian" has a wide range. But yes, a vegan won't eat anything related to animals in any way. No flesh, no milk, no eggs, etc.
