This variety does great in a pot. If you had somewhere to place it during the winter it would do fine. I would suggest doing a pot around 5 gallon the first year, and then in the ground the next year. That should give it enough time to get a good root ball. If planted in the ground once it warms enough, I would imagine it should be well established enough by the time winter came.I do Garden. I live in Southeastern Wisconsin, though so not sure how well it would hold up to our climate.
I would love some seeds if I could keep the tree alive lol.
