My broody hen Angelina won’t let me touch her babies and if I do pick one up they cry bloody murder and mom comes running.

My Muscovy hens don't appreciate me messing with their ducklings either! They will claw me and bite me until I'm bleeding!

I just realized how "old" Fran's name sounds... Btw, Fran is my Campbell duck hen.

I do consider that a good trait, though. The more protective, the better. I have a bunch of little siblings running around that are known for squeezing ducklings to death. I want them to be thoroughly sacred of touching the broody mama's ducklings.
