I personally dislike all mass production of animal products. If I had the option to, I'd produce everything I eat myself. And as much of everything else as possible.

Cattle is already there. I toured a fully indoors dairy farm.

Their loafing stalls were indoors, milking parlor indoors, calving area indoors. Calf raising area indoors. Feeding area indoors.

It was all climate controlled, I remember that much.

Okay, so I went back and took a look. The only thing outdoors were the calf hutches. The cows only got to go outside if they were being moved to the birthing barn.

What's even more infuriating is the way they treat the animals.
Here's an example, but there are many, many more videos out there showing what it's like.
I remember a video I watched a long time ago showed a man spraying spray paint up a pig's nose! I can't find it right now, but if I could I would show it to you.

There is animal abuse in the industry, yes. But of course almost all that makes headlines ARE the cases of abuse. Because that gets attention. There is plenty of humane treatment, too. We just don't hear about it as often.

Also, friendly reminder that animal abuse is a forbidden topic of discussion here. There are eyes watching.
