What is grosser is mom had Starling sitting on the remaining eggs on the floor with her chicks. Dad picked them up off the floor because she wasn't nesting anymore, thinking they were eating eggs, setting them on the table with the eating eggs.
Instead of throwing them out.
It was pure luck my mom noticed them missing from the floor and realised some of those eggs were on the table.

I could have eaten one of those 90 percent incubated eggs. Or worse, sold them to a client.
