That's a lot. I charge 20 for adults hatched from my Calls that are inferior, but still hatched from decent parents.
Even with SOP parents, you can't sell show quality chicks. I'd say 10 tops. Even that's a lot. Most breeders I know sell for less than hatcheries, not wanting to make money.
Okay so how about $5/chick since roughly half will be male anyway? I'm starting to think it'd be better to sell older pullets and cockerels once I've picked out the good ones.

Yup that’s a good idea.
My breeders have not been shown yet, but their parents get consistent blues at APA/ABA shows here. Unfortunately, I won't be in state by the time the first APA/ABA show opens. It's Tunisia and Kibo. If anyone knows SOP, what value would you place on the parents?

And yes, day old unsexed. I was thinking $15-$20/chick
Because knowing what line they come from matters to people who want to bring in new blood to their stock.

I never buy chicks that cost 15 dollars or more, because the people (most, not all) who charge that much are just looking to make money. Most show quality breeders sell for far less. (Unless it was very rare, say, a Holland.)
I feel like for chicks who come from show birds, though it's a shame to sell for less than $10/chick. I bought my last d'Uccles for $10ea and I ended up with the best cockerel I'd ever laid eyes on.

It’s a gamble. Find out what other D’Uccle breeders in your area are selling their chicks for and base your price off of that. $7-$10 sounds like a good price to me.

There are no other breeders in my area selling. There is literally only me and the person I got my stock from who have d'Uccles here that they actually BREED. Everyone else only has pullets.
