Backup Cockerels, My two back up boys from first hatch were in said tractor and the coon defeated the wire. Hence change in predator proofing.

Cy I'd wait another 5 days before tossing. I've had late bloomers develop after day 11. They do hatch later, but development is good.

Okay, then maybe I'll just leave them until a day after the rest hatch. I'd hate to toss potential chicks.

I'm pretty sure I've told you about my compost bin chick. If not, I will... Smell em, if they don't stink be patient. The last sound you ever want to hear from your bator is POP!
