Basically, my first crosses are going to be D'U x Cochin, D'U x RIR bantam and D'U x D'Anver to establish a few key patterns such as red and gold unicolor, red laced, silver laced, cuckoo. Red laced is going to play the biggest part in creating a lot of things.

But after crossing it out by putting D’Uccles back into the cross over and over, how does the desired color variety stay? I’m not good with genetics

Cyprus will have to select the best offspring that have the desired color pattern and breed them back to Belgian Bearded D’Uccles and then choose the best offspring from that cross with desired color and characteristics and breed back to Belgian Bearded D’Uccles or to the cross parent.
