So rude!
I hate it when my bearded fowl (and I own a lot of them) get their beards picked out! And there's nothing you can do to stop them! Then the poor chicken has an ugly, pink, naked neck.

My non bearded birds are having that problem instead

Bright side ish - Had dry socket, got it treated and I'm no longer in pain. A blissful feeling.

I was worried that you had developed one when you didn't get out of pain on schedule. I'm so glad you got it fixed.

Got a 3rd D'Uccle egg today!
That's 3 eggs in 4 days of lay. Much more productive than I expected.

I'm thinking I will set Tuesday night because I may have a half dozen by then. I don't want to hatch more than 10 chicks at a time because I don't have a brooder big enough to handle that load. Although, males may be eliminated early.
