I have white birds and barred birds. She's pretty! I've got a guy who also wants to drive 12 hours one way to buy POL pullets... he wants 6 hens and a cockerel and he's good with a pet quality cockerel. He's offering $20/bird. That's $5 less than I usually ask, but then again, he's driving 12 hours one way. What I find offensive is the guy who wants to pay $3 for sexed day old chicks. I sell the eggs for $5 each.

That last guy is someone I wouldn't ever sell to. I conducted a poll on FB poultry owners. The overwhelming majority said they wouldn't pay extra for DNA sexed chicks.

To be fair, it took me a few years of practice.

I did figure out a new sex link crossbreed, though Boy, was my friend mad when he had to admit that I was right that he has mostly cockerels
