Mama cat is mostly tame you just can't pick her up. We think she used to be someones cat because she likes to be petted.
We have a cat that won't be picked up. We've had her about 10 years, got her from the Humane Society. She will sit on DW's lap a LOT and lets others pet her on occasion in DW's absence but getting her to the vet is a PITA. And DD1 and I have to get her into a carrier for just such a trip tomorrow lat morning. Not looking forward to trying to catch her. She seems to know when we need to take her and has untold places to hide. And all of our cats are indoor only so that does limit the places but we don't know where they are. And she's fast.

We have an adopted male cat that is like that. More than once he's ran up one arm and down the other trying to get away. He too seems to know when it's time to go somewhere, but he goes straight for the closet. I used to be able to just go in with a towel, and kind of catch and wrap him up. He gotten wise to my tricks though, so now I have to go in with a blanket stretched above my head and basically wait for him to attack me. As soon as it's all over though he's everyone's best friend again.

Oh no. We've yet to try to get her in a carrier we will have to at some point to get her fixed. She's gotten round again though... I'm hoping it's just because she has 24 hour access to food and not that she's pregnant again. I can't find homes for the kittens we have already.
