I’m gonna test it one last time this spring, just in case... but Fran's female ducklings have hatched as brown females and black males. Sex-linked somehow... Will Fran's daughter also produce "sex linked" ducklings?

That'd be great, if you could test it! We only get down to -30°F at absolute lowest.

Yeah it get's down to about that here. -30C(-22F) is about the lowest i get but it is humid here even in the winter. I'll see what i can come up with.

If they're sex-linked then no. That only works for one generation.
If Auto sexing, then yes. That works indefinitely.

Me too. Nobody else in the area has bantams. But I did lose those 5 bantam chicks last summer. 2 were female. I presumed they died.
