I should do. Need to get a proper set-up first. I did consider doing leapard geckos but I've had them before and. Dont kill me. They're kinda boring..because they're semi nocturnal.

Mango is ONLY interesting when I’m holding her. Boring indeed.

I’ve seen mixed answers online so I’ll ask here. How long (if at all) should the quarantine period for geckos be? Both Mango, and the new gecko were bought vet-insured.

Btw I’m overdramatic about the snow. Only .5” is expected. But it’s still snow.

For the rat problem- Is there a way you can rig up some makeshift coops and relocate your flocks elsewhere on the property while you deal with the rats? That way you could use traps/poison and stamp them out without worrying about harming the birds. T posts, welded wire, and bird netting makes a good makeshift run, and 5 gallon buckets on their sides make good nesting boxes in a pinch.
