I think it was the trip to the Airport and back that got me. I was up yesterday at 4:30, which is normal, but didn't get home until around 9:00 and then couldn't go to sleep.

My hubby has been calling mine slackers since fall started. Not a single egg! I was reading around in here about the light sensitivity thing and I told him, "Well, the folks at BYC say that if we installed a light..." He just looked at me. ROFL I'm thinking if we had as many as you, there would be a little more effort. LOL Our layers consist of 2 BRs, 1 Silkie/CCL cross and a young Brahma who should have started laying right when everyone stopped!

They'll start soon... I had a chat with my old girls about the stew pot and been getting an egg from each of them about every other to every two days. All extra large.
