Kayla, I'm so sorry but my old memory isn't helping here... Which critter is Hallie?

Oh, and I got to see Todd work today on herding... Scared me to death, but he got the job done. When he engages a small predator or plays with his toys he jumps down with his front paws grabs it and shakes it until it's lifeless. Like I said, he does this with his toys and I've seen him kill opossums and raccoons that way. Today, two of my ducks wandered down by the house (they never come down to the house) and I heard loud quacking. I go to see what's going on and Todd is trying to contain and redirect one of my ducks. He's using the same posture as he does with predators. I'm thinking that I'm about to lose a duck to the very thing that's supposed to protect them. :th But things changed. He was working to get her to submit to his will. Once she quit fighting off his direction and sat still, he sniffed her from head to toe and then nudged her with his nose into the direction he wanted her to go. Once turned he nudged her in the back end to walk that way, she'd take a few steps, then he'd re-adjust and nudge her again. At one point she got tired of this and flew over his paw and down the hill. Took him at least an hour but in the end duck was delivered to DW and is spending the night in the garage. Totally unharmed, but surely traumatized by her experience.

And he just ran off another predator, he sends them to an area where the birds don't go.
