Best I can tell, there are 6 flocks nation wide... and I think five of us got them from the same lady.

I'm surviving... lol. The hens are liking this nice, fall, low 60*Fs weather a lot.

Oh, I so wish that would make it’s way here! It is sweltering here (as usual) .... 95! I had to put a fan on the run for the gals....in SEPTEMBER!! I also pour buckets of water for them to “play” in!

Yup. But I also free range, so I have to plan on losses.

My chickens are all good they are adjusting to the cooler weather. Suprisingly they haven’t molted to much yet.

It kinda makes me wonder, usually molting starts in October for us, so they are fully feathered by November (which is super windy and cold) but maybe the chooks are molting earlier as a sign that it'll be a hard and cold winter.
