For the pico... Tomatoes, Jalapenos, Onions, garlic, cilantro and lime juice. And let it marinade. A little salt isn't bad either.

ETA: and a little cumin is nice tool.

They are doing well. The young girls found a bail of straw in the barn and now have made a dozen or so nests. At 6:00 AM there are birds in the driveway.
