ChickieMama... today I saw a chicken.. and beautiful one at that... walking by the side of the road on an empty lot... on my way to pick up the girl which was around the corner from where I saw the chicken.. so on the way back I pulled in the lot.. rolled down my window and started calling.. Bak, bak, bak, bak, ba gok! :lau The chicken was no longer there.... anyway, needless to say.. I would not do this for a dog or cat .. even though I like them too.. but if I did see it and had to chase it down this would at least explain to passers by why they were seeing what they were seeing :gigView attachment 1817513
Too funny! :gig

Could it be Cocci stunting their growth? No bloody poop. :idunno
Bloody poop isn't always associated with Cocci, if the disease has progressed far enough then there might be bloody droppings.
Did you see undigested feed in their poop?
It probably wouldn't hurt to treat the rest for cocci.

Hmm, i haven’t noticed any indigested feed in their poop. I’ll have to check whenever it decides to stop raining.

Lots of bird diseases thrive in damp, warm environments. Can you keep them in a dry place with their broody?
Well, I don’t think it’s a disease (well I suppose cocci can be counted as something... idk if you’d call it a disease or not). They weren’t growing even when everything was dry a few weeks ago. I’m pretty sure it’s cocci. After adding tarps, etc. the coop they are in with their momma (Mylie) is staying pretty dry. I just didn’t wanna go out in the rain.

Hear that! Just thought I might add that thought. Some just do not get the space at the feeder, or the attention from the mom, that they need. Wild birds have less than 50% hatching survival. Some parrots, lucky to get 2 survivors out of four eggs set. You are doing better than that!
