BUT WAIT!
I tracked down my broody guinea and put the guineafowl eggs under my Orpington.
I have no idea what day they’re on, but they’re all developing. 16 eggs total. I guess since the guinea wouldn’t be able to raise them here, it all worked out. Maybe.
