We have a yard full of critters this year. Tons of deer are helping themselves, as well as rabbits, chipmunk, and squirrels. I'm sure there's probably some possum and skunk wandering around as well as those coyote we are hearing behind our house. Deer just eat all our apples off our trees. I'm trying to hold onto those 10 pears I see developing on my tree. I really would like to eat them myself for once.

Oh and I'm not a fan of useless barking in dogs. My do it a lot when they are expecting their daddy to come home, yes we call ourselves mom and dad to our dogs. :)

We seem to have lots of critters as well. And yeah, I think at first there really was something out there cause he was doing his deep, aggressive bark by the door, but I checked every time, nothing after the chickens. Then later I think he had to potty and barked for like half hour, hour straight till I finally let him out. He did have to go and held it but he was so annoying. It was like 2 or 3 hours. Every time I went back upstairs or back in bed he'd start. Finally just stayed up cause I couldn't sleep anyway, got pain/IBS from the stress lol

This was like 5 to 7 or 8. Took him out front on leash to pee at 5, didn't want him barking, out back at 7 to poop, again, thought he was just being needy plus didn't want to let him out too early.

He will sometimes just lay there on the floor or couch and bark at nothing though. So annoying.

Surprisingly my brother slept through all of this and rolled out of bed around 10:30 and was like "wow you're up early" LOL

I don't get it. Dog barking 2 hours straight (well off and in but basically straight), me going up and down stairs 5 million times, bathroom door opening and closing a bunch (closing so AC wouldn't go in), downstairs doors opening and closing, etc. But he did have 2 fans going lol one in the room, one in hall.

Oh and I would call myself that too! Except my dad is dad and mom is mom and we're all just our names to Gator lol but my brother and FSIL are mom and dad and I'm auntie LOL

My husband can sleep through anything too. It's a male trait I think. :)

That amount of barking would earn my dog a bark collar I think. I value my am sleeping since it takes forever to fall asleep some nights. My dogs will get my husband up at night to go out, so night multiple times. When he's out of town they sleep until I get up. They know which one of us is trained.

Probably! Is hunger one too?

Yesterday my brother had not one but TWO roast beef sandwiches before we went on the boat and then we came back like 2 hours later and I think he ate 2 leftover slices of pizza too. Not entirely positive but the empty bag was in the trash lol

And I thought I ate a lot :lau

And lol yeah I thought about getting it so I don't have to keep going up and down the stairs yelling at him but idk.

And lol Gator goes out 5 million times when my dad's home because he smokes and Gator has him trained lol

And he wakes him up very early. Normally with me he'll gladly sleep rill 9 or even noon. Not nice or responsible but he CAN hold it. He just chooses to bug my dad lol

Brother and I made steaks tonight, sweet potato, squash, and salad. Salad came from my plants. I was too full to eat much but tasty. Squash we put olive oil on and grilled but he accidentally dropped 3 of them (sliced a zucchini and a yellow summer squash in half lengthwise) so we split one. Put lots of fruit in the salad. Tasty. Why is it that we don't eat this healthy when our parents are here? Lol
