Happened to me 3x in the past hour on a mobile device

I use Cheetah Mobile, you can get it for free from the Play store. Blocks popups and records the popups that it has blocked. Since I've been on here about 1.5 hours, it's blocked 72 popups!

in the past minute I was “chosen” for one of those scam online contest things twice while using byc even after deleting pages and history. I can’t think of anything that may have infected me(very secure online user). Is this a byc problem?
