Keep getting redirected when opening threads

Every time I enter the site thru the iPad app it tells me the app needs work to update it or it will not be functional in later versions of ios. Thought I'd best mention it.

Can you not use the app for now and instead use the browser on the pad.
It works great.
(I think the app needs some updating still)
