I use an old container big enough for my Turkeys to stand in without getting their chest wet. Yumyum sprained her leg. Vet told me to put ice cold water for 5-10 minutes. You can alternate between warm and cold. It seemed to help. When she was out she didn't seem to limp that bad.

FYI Dinner and Yumyum really really really liked this during the heat wave.
