Keeping an eye on this one

I've read on here pullets don't get really red combs until POL, correct? I posted this BA on Friday. Do they get this red in a matter of days at 10 weeks??

Despite being only 10 weeks, his saddle feathers are looking suspiciously "sharp"....I think it's a little cockerel.

I think at 10 weeks this bird may still be a pullet. Give it a few more weeks, the saddle feathers will come in more clearly after about 12 weeks of age.

It's all very confusing lol. I've been suspecting since 5ish weeks. I have 6 different breeds, none of my chickens look alike so that makes it hard to track.

My instincts are telling me girl chicken. Here’s my June Bug (barred rock) at 10 weeks vs Eddie (cream legbar/cuckoo marans cross) at 10 weeks. Junie started getting a little red in the comb and wattles at that age. Of course, genetics play a role too, but I’m just saying don’t rule out pullet just yet.
