I lost my left eye in Vietnam in 1968...I had a cataract removed from my right eye several months ago that returned my sight to almost perfect but I was so accustomed to using bold/italic, I just couldn't seem to break my habit. Before the surgery, I used this system to be able to see my mistakes easier before I posted them...

So.....there's no valid reason to do it now...just habit! I'm one of those kind of men.

Personally, I find the bold print much easier on these old feeble eyes. I know that the techies think that bold print is a way of yelling, so please, continue yelling at my eyes. They don't hear very well.

I have to agree, the font size the site brings up is unreadable to me.

I only think someone is "yelling" if everything is posted in capitol letters. That can get a bit hard on the eyes, but italics or bold never bother me.

X2. All caps is considered yelling. And terribly hard for me to read. I have no issue with either bold or italics. To me, it's no different than using a different font color. But all caps = skipping right by because I don't have the patience to suffer through it {although I know one lady who is visually impaired and uses all caps}.

if I ever use all caps, I'm not yelling. I've just forgotten to take the caps off. sometimes easier to do all caps than to hit the shift, as you can see when i miss the shift often!
