That’s where I luck out! Being married for 52 years to a professional electrician has its perks!

Lucky you! Former owner of this house was a retired electrician, but it seems he used the house to test out things, whether they were good ideas or not... Every room has about 2-3x more lights than needed, all different sorts.

or try a wooly hen? No electricity needed. I do use heat lamps durning the day, but at night I shut them off, and my chicks go under a wooly layer, above them. Traps their own heat, and the sleep well in the dark.
