Keeping eggs viable

This may be one of those silly questions but can anyone tell me how to keep eggs in viable condition to be able to collect more than one or two for incubation?
I want to keep eggs from a certain hen but she only lays every other day. How long will they remain good?

No question is silly if you don't have an answer. Peeps have successfully incubated eggs that were 2 weeks in the refrigerator. I suggest that you keep yours room temperature until you have enough. I'm not sure if going longer than 2 weeks would be suggested. Give it a try and see how successful your hatch is.

They remain viable for 10 to 14 days before fertility starts to decline. The best conditions to keep them in to maintain fertility are at a temperature of 60 degrees and stored in an autoturner.

However they're pretty hardy and I've stored eggs for ten days at room temp without turning them and had them do fine.
