I think you have to get a specific type of camera, because phones probably don't catch fast movement very well. Certain high quality cameras catch the betta in the middle of a graceful thrust, making a great picture. Try reading the Betty Splendens page for taking pics. Good luck!

In order to post pictures of Cleo and Indigo I had to use my laptop to take pictures of my images on my phone, so they're not very good pictures. Here is my final attempt:

the actual Cleo(last image was someone else's fish that looked exactly like her)

Indigo now; see how red she is compared to her ebay picture?
