A little on the crazy side.
So after all my drama of loosing 15 eggs during my incubation 1 egg has made it to lockdown day.

But now I am facing another big problem! (They just keep rolling in, eh

) How am I meant to maintain Humidity in my Janoel 12 Incubator? Do I fill the whole bottom pan up? What Humidity should it be resting at?- There is no Humidity measurement in this Incubator so I have to play it by ear.

As a side note should my temperature remain 37.5 or is that a bit to low?

Well..It did come with instruction's, but knowing me I have placed them somewhere "Too safe"

So assuming the temp is fine should I go ahead and "Lock down" Once I master how to get the Humidity steady?

Righty'o! Egg has gone into lockdown! And because its the only egg there, I have looped some YouTube Audio of Baby chicks chirping and peeping and mother hen reassuring to chicks. This should encourage little egg.

I have placed a warm wet sponge on the bottom of the incubator plus excessive moisture and all seems well right now. Its day 17 but because of the extra heat the chick has developed faster.

Im hoping for the best

I'm not sure how much room there is in there but I like to use a wet wash rag. Like they said, if it looks like a tropical terrarium, humidity is too high. You shouldn't have water running down the sides.

My humidity in my home is staying about 50% so I feel it’s not taking much to get it too high. This is my first hatch and I feel over whelmed with factors lol
