Keeping multiple breeds of geese together

Is it possible to have 2 or more varieties of geese living in harmony on the same property while not being separated? We have a pair of Pilgrim goslings and 2 female Sebastopols. Next year I am thinking of getting another pair Sebastopols and then adding either a pair of American Buffs or Pomeranians. I want them to get along but I am also assuming that they would have to be separated before breeding season to keep the lines pure. After that will they get along or will I have to continually keep them separate?

Based on the number of ads for mixed flock eggs that were posted on Ebay back in March and April, I'd say that its not a problem. If, as you say, you want to keep bloodlines pure, you would need to separate them during breeding season.

We have a trio of Embdens, a trio of Saddleback Pomeranians, and a pair of Toulouse. They all flock together and get along great. We do keep them separate for the breeding season.

I have 6 brown chinese and a trio of sebbies. They are penned up at night together and get along fine. During the day they are let out into yard and go off into their own groups. Sometimes one of the sebbie hens will hang with the brown chinese. Everyone seems content...

My only problem has been if you lose one, then the lone bird may pair with another breed and it can be difficult to separate them.
