We have 4 chickens, 2 of which that are bantams.

I heard you can and can't. What ever you post, please say why!

Can we keep some quail with them? Thanks!

You can, but you are risking death of your quail.

Not only are chickens much larger than quail, chickens have been known to kill quail.

Quail have different dietary requirements than chickens and one of these two will suffer eating the wrong food.

And lastly, chickens are known to carry diseases that can and do kill quail. Your chickens will not necessarily show any symptoms, but Coryza, carried by chickens, can and does kill quail.

Some people have had success keeping the two species together and others not. You take your chances.

Cha CHING! X2 what 2Crows said; those that have no problem are the exception and not the rule. Follow the link at the bottom of my signature. Where's that jar at?
