Keeping Temperature steady in Heat of summer and mixing chicks

As for the chicks/outside thing, I found that even at week one, as long as the sun was out and there wasn't any wind, they were happy to be outside, pooping on grass, blundering into each other, peering over clumps of clover, and sleeping in the sun. At week 7 I turned off theyer brooder light during the day, they only needed it on at night, which now kept the brooder at 65F. At week 8, they were officially heat weaned, and now at 12wks, while the coop is being built, their window is always open to help ventilate the place. As for the hot/house thing, this Is what I do:

A. Open doors and windows in the cool hours of the morning (during breakfast)
B. Close said doors and windows before 11:00
C. Close drapes/curtains/blinds to block sun from entering the house (same time as closing windows)
D. Set up one or more fans so that they blow cool air from the basement up the stairs and into the floor above them (While I head downstairs to the computer, or during lunch)
E. Open the same doors and windows mentioned before after 7:00, to be closed or partially closed before bed (During dinner or the making of dinner)
F. Repeat all summer, unless it's raining out- then open all the windows and doors that are positioned in a way as to not let the rain in!
