Keeping Track of All Chickens Using Excel

Is there a way to know how many eggs each chicken layed?

I don't think so but was just wondering.

You mean an egg log? I'm sure you can do that as well, but you'll have to remember to log it in every time you pick up your eggs. I find it a bit easier to keep a paper tally of eggs via a piece of paper by the egg collecting door and every once in a while you can input it into Excel so you could run the calculation.

For an egg log I made chalk boards with chalk board paint next to each pen with layers, when the eggs get picked up mark a tally, I have a date too. every 3 days or so log it in the computer. works great unless one of the kids picks up eggs and forget to mark it down
