Keeping Track Of Breaking The Record of BYC Members Online At One Time

I'll be honest, I didn't think 1,000 at once would ever happen, but the fact that we're pretty often in the 900's without "trying" is pretty amazing.

I now have no question that if on a Sunday we had a trivia contest, sent out a newsletter, and told everyone to login we'd have WAY more than 1,000 online at once.

But, I like to see what we do without any "artificial" help.

I think I just figured out why we broke the record today (a Tuesday no less). We had a HUGE spike in new visitors from www.StumbleUpon.com

Now if we could just get on the front page of digg.com and slashdot.com we'd be good!

I was just checking to see the amount of guest on at one time. Now last night I checked and it said the most ever was 979, right now it saying Most online ever: 2255 (Sat Apr 18, 2009 8:49 am) Is this right???
