I don't see any that look like keets. Those are all chicken chicks.View attachment 1329176 View attachment 1329170 I hatched 20 eggs. 7 look like keets with racing stripes, but not bright orange feet, and hatched at 21 days. Roosters were black silkie, ameracauna, and 4 guineas share the coop. What do you think?
Guineas and chickens can breed and produce a hybrid offspring. The offspring do not tend to live long lives and are reported to be sterile.Guineas and chickens can not breed. They are not the same species.
I stand corrected. It is a freakish hybrid that seems cruel to try and produce.Guineas and chickens can breed and produce a hybrid offspring. The offspring do not tend to live long lives are are reported to be sterile.

Chicken genetics will do strange things sometimes. If the rooster was an Easter egger and not an Ameraucana, then he is probably responsible for the striped chicks.I was not intentional to possibly mix the two. I just collected what I thought were my bantam or silkie eggs. I just find it weird they have stripes. The bantam hens are silkies and maybe barred rock or similar appearance.
