"She didn't get a very good look, as it was nearly dark, but from what she says, I think it may be Aed" he whispered, glancing around warily.



(Aed is a Kelpie who was outcast for murder)

"Do you really think so? And, if it is Aed, what are we to do?" Genovefa asked in the same hushed tone. Her eyes widened at the thought of Aed, and her heart began to beat faster.

"Early this morning, something woke me up. I'm not sure what. It was still dark and I decided to walk down to the river. I saw figures run out across the path a ways in front of me, all I could make see were shadows. It looked like three, maybe four horses. I called out, but I got no answering call. I don't think they were Celtics" he explained hurriedly.

"Yes. I don't know. We must act quickly. I fear Ghost may be with him. The Shadows have been silent for a long time...much too long." he told her solemnly. A cold weight of dread lodged itself deep in his chest. If Aed is here..it means only one thing....he is here to kill.

Genovefa nodded slowly. "Perhaps it would be a good idea to assign more guards to post?..." She said quietly as the thought came to her mind.
