Debi, You're getting a big cyber hug from me right now. May the Lord's peace settle in your heart sooner rather than later. And may He be at Dr. Lai's right hand.

What's the big idea??? Why the flamin mad face you goober butt? I can't help if I'm trying to get on a better schecule and go to bed at a decent hour... I'm not like you and can function on 3-4 hours of sleep. I've got little kids you know and they take energy.

So Debi, you say he had 2 heart attacks before? How much damage was done then? Was he on meds currently? That's scary.

My heart attack did not feel like heart burn but boy, isn't the heart burn thing a clear sign of one? Wow... glad he got to the fire station. What a doof.

Mine was a pain in the middle of my back, radiating front, down my arms, up my neck and jaw and I vomited violently. I think it probably presents a little differently in women and men, perhaps.

The angio isn't a fun thing...actually the part where they pull the tube out of your groin a couple of days later and press on the vein HARD for 20 minutes steady so you don't bleed out... that was probably the most painful. But it's like childbirth... you survive and get over it.

I hope to God he doesn't have much damage and can start on a near full recovery.

For a time he'll be sleepy... at least I was. Then I felt as if I was getting better but then I got extremely fatigued and muscle fatigue with the slightest bit of exertion so they changed my meds and i'm feeling better these days. It's all about how ones body responds and it can take a while to adjust-- it's been 4 months and I'm just now getting to feeling decent.

You know I'm here if you need me. And B.Saffles is a good guy to talk to too... all us heart patients like to stick together for moral and medical support.

love ya,
hang in there,
Christ loves ya,
Gretch
