Debbie............ Sorry to hear of Ken's problems. I had a similar episode, lasted about 2 weeks total and I wound up in the hospital in CCU for 7 days. They found nothing! No blockages, angina, nothing! My brother is a therapist and a psyc professor at a college in Va. When I told him what all tests had been run and nothing being found, he explained that it sounded like it may be stress related and suggested that I talk to my doctor about that maybe being the problem. It seems that he was correct in his thoughts. I told the doctor what my brother had told me and after hearing that my brothers' credentials were, my doctor put me on valium to try it out. Presto, no more chest pains, no more tightness in the chest. I don't have to take them everyday, but sometimes I do. I can feel the tension slowly leave my chest and I start to breath easier. I guess knowing what it is, makes it a little bit easieer to deal with. As my stress levels dropped, the need for them also dropped and I haven't needed one of them for about 2-3 months now, but I have them in case. Talk to his doctor and see what they think about this. It may be in his head instead of his chest as mine was. Good Luck to you both and my prayers are with you both.

Hey Debi, I have been in and out all weekend. Did I miss another thread on an update with Ken? How are things going with you and him?
You two are in my thoughts and I hope they figure out what the heck is wrong with his body.

Yes. I have no doubt about the results. The doctor went over each and every test in excruiciating detail. In front of the computer with full explanation as to what we were looking at. Medcine these days is AMAZING.
