Kennel Coop?

Excellent thread! This is exactly what I am planning to do. I am trying to figure out how much shelter they will need inside the run. I figure to wrap the bottom half with wire, and it already has a shade screen on top.

thats what i did just beware if you have a dirt floor in your coop things can dig up and under then munch there goes a hen

I have a newly purchased kennel coop (sick of the THING i made...) and I LOVE IT! SO much room! Stronger than dat stupid freaking chicken wire. Hate dat stuff.

Well, I previously had a couple of German Shepherds in it (one is still available if anyone is interested

), so I had buried cinder blocks around the perimeter. I figure that should help keep chickens in and predators out.

I'd love to see more pictures of how people configured their dog kennel/chicken pens. I have some ideas, but I love to see what other people do.
