Kentucky people

I have been trying to scale down a few birds and trying to focus on many other things at the moment, I always forget to check this thread.

I subscribe to the thread and so am reminded if there are new posts. With no swaps and few shows during the holidays, there isn't much news. Any time now we'll all get to gripe about the weather

Welcome Pickledchicken!!

Thank you for the welcome......What type of flute? I play a little NAF from time to time

ok i live in eastern kentucky..... when can i put my baby chicks out in the coop? please some one help me lol i have 27 4 week old chicks and tons of dust

I put my 3 week old chicks in a small weather proof starter coop with a heat lamp 3 weeks ago with no problems. Starter coop is about 4x4 and is made of pressed wood covered with metal and wrapped in plastic. After they are fully feathered out will manage without heat. But I'm a bleeding heart and I just switched the high wattage heat bulb to a 90 watt bulb and they are very comfortable.

I make mostly NAF style flutes, but also some shakuhachi, bone whistles, and I even have a cedar saxaphone on the bench right now.
