Wow sounds like that time I had to take 2 days off from work going store to store to try and get TOILET PAPER.

12-24 months tops. There will be a massive influx of chickens and related supplies up for grabs.I'm not sure most of the people that bought up the chicks will stick it out 6, 7 months it's going to take to get an egg.
Agreed. People think keeping chickens is cheaper than buying eggs, and they are only cheaper if you don’t take care of them well. To raise hens to point of lay from chicks, you are already starting out in the hole feeding those birds for 5-6+ months before you ever see your first egg. Then there is taking care of them in the winter, when most of the time without artificial lighting, most chickens do not lay eggs during cold winter months due to shorter days. Yeah people with the mindset they are getting chickens to save money on eggs are the same ones you see posting their entire flock of hens on Fb livestock sale groups in less than a year.12-24 months tops. Hope all is well in your area. I saw a picture shared on Fb that Frankfort was getting some pretty bad flooding. I’m so sick of all this rain and cold. I’m ready for constant sunshine and warm!!Greetings from Frankfort.
