I also kicked some babies out of the house today. They were sleeping on top of the towel that covered their box, so I had to do a lot of reorganizing!! Good thing Sissy and her babies are finally roosting! It's about time, the chicks are probably 3 1/2 months old! Gretta has had her baby roosting in the building since it was only 1 week old!!

he's leaving Michigan at 4:30 tomorrow evening. (eta - arriving in Etown at 7:40 eastern time Sunday morning - bit of a long haul)
Michigan now has only ONE route out of the state, apparently - through Detroit. Last year he went through Chicago - didn't arrive so dang early in the morning.

I think Michigan is trying to stem the outflow of bodies from the State (people are leaving in droves) so they're making it more unpleasant to go. As if a greyhound bus wasn't unpleasant enough to begin with

I think hubby is going strange on me.

Last night I'm on here, chatting with Shelley, and he pokes his head in the door and says "Ya know what we ought to build? a Sauna!" with a gleam in his eye he proceeds to tell me just where we'd put it, how he knows how to make saunas with woodstoves, etc...

Then, this morning I get up and turn on the computer....
now anyone who does ebay and gets those notices in email, will understand this.....

I open email, and the top message is ---

"You've been outbid on Mounted Bust of Hitler (110326007802)".

He'll have to explain that one when he gets up later.

He's bought some strange stuff before - but a mounted bust of Hitler?
That's one to keep in his office, and not have out in the living room.

.....and he says I have too much junk.....
