Ok, guys, tell me how I can be two places at once tomorrow.
We have hubby's family reunion over in Penrod (a little west of Bowling Green).
But, We have another calf coming tomorrow morning (in addition to the one tonight) and hubby and tony (and sam if we can make him get off the computer) have to go get some square bale hay out of a field sometime during the day. I imagine I'll have to drive to get hay, hubby hates to drive and hates it more if he's pulling a trailer. At least I won't have to throw bales
Always hated doing hay when I was a kid.
Sheesh
I am getting quite the herd. I started to wean Mookie this morning. I felt bad for the baby, so I gave him a half bottle this morning, will give him a full one tonight, then just a full bottle at night for two or three days til he is off them. Next up is BamBam to be weaned.
It isn't as if Mook is hungry - he eats everything that doesn't run away
but I feel mean when he wants that bottle and I can't give him one.
I guess I'll have to be tough - gonna have way too many to feed a bottle to to worry about MookMan having his.
It is probably more traumatizing to me than to him - with him he probably only thinks about it when he sees everyoen else having one. Heck, even Camille looks longingly at the bottle when I'm handing them around, and she's been weaned for a while, now.
Camille let hubby briefly touch her yesterday
and today she didn't run to the far side of the corral when I was in there, she even slowly sideswiped me as I was passing by with her food. I don't think it'll take too long to tame her at all. Good thing, because she needs to go to the pasture with Mook and BamBam soon.
Well, I got running to do this morning.
Oh, supposedly those chickens are gonna be at Debbie's today - and I should be able to get them tomorrow (along with the hundred other things I'm supposed to do tomorrow.)
