Hey spydertoys, I've been looking at your ads. It is good to know that you hatch year round, it will probably be better for me to get them in the early spring after I get the new coop built. The daughter picked up three ee's at tim and susies so my little coop is maxed out right now. Do you have pics posted someplace? I think I have seen you on another thread maybe?

Spydertoys, where are you located? I think I asked this before but I haven't been on here in a while since I've been remodeling a house. I'm looking for black copper marans and doms. I plan on having my coop finished by September so that's two months to find the ones I want. I know more about doms not so much about marans. I just hope they're docile and good layers! Also, how much do you charge for your Pygmy kids? I need a few to clear a lot of brush and to have as pets. I had goats growing up and can't wait to get some again!

I have Doms..but not Marans..never got into the whole dark brown egg thing..lol. Most of my customers are just looking for normal egg layers, not so much of the fancy breeds. My best sellers are RIR's and Australorps.

As for the Pygmy's...boys are $50 and girls are $75. People who buy billies, get first priority on girls.

There are a few pics in my profile...but I'm no photographer and I don't even like most of them,,lol!

Some day I need to take some new ones.

I've think I've seen your ads. I just checked mapquest and you're about 3 hours from me!

If you don't mind me asking, do or when will you have d'Uccles available? I would really like to get some because I had ordered some from one place, just to have them tell me months later that they couldn't fill the order due to hatching issues, and had ordered from another place at the same time, just to have one d'Uccle chick arrive DOA and the other die the same day I got them.

Of all the chicks I ordered, it was the d'Uccles I wanted the most too. I really don't want to have any shipped to me because of the heat and was looking for someone with chicks within a decent driving distance.

I wanted to ask too how much the d'Uccle chicks were. I'm asking 'cause I've got to run this by my husband. Though the man who'd give me funny looks over my love for chickens fell in love with one of the Cochin chicks and dotes over her and always brags about her. So much for ME being the one who's chicken crazy, lol!!

Started chicks would be fine with me too. Oh and do you mind people picking up chicks from your place (or we could meet somewhere if you prefer)?

Everyone does do pick them up...I don't ship chicks. However I don't give my address to anyone I haven't at least talked to on the phone first..lots of weirdos out there if you know what I mean.

I do have quite a long waiting list on the d'Uccles. Had some Roo issues earlier ( he seemed to be shooting blanks..lol) but he has been replaced by two fine youngsters. It remains to be seen at this point how they will do. Hopefully I will be able to catch up on orders soon. They are $3..I like them to be at least a couple weeks old before I let them go.

i have 2 maybe 3 beautiful 6 week old maran roosters...who are very tame sweet little guys ...free...i bought 18 straight run 1 day old chicks and well you can guess...too many roosters...i have 2 french copper ...im not sure yet about the 3rd being a rooster its a french blue copper maren...if you are interested please reply on my profile and we can work out a pick up...
